Dr. Jessica Zhang is the George Tallman Ladd and Florence Barrett Ladd Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and conducts research in computational geometry, isogeometric analysis, mesh generation, and data-driven modeling with applications in biomedicine and materials science. Author of over 250 publications and a CRC Press book, she has received numerous honors including the 2025 ASME Van C. Mow Medal, AWM-SIAM Kovalevsky Award, PECASE, and NSF CAREER. She is a Fellow of ASME, SIAM, AIMBE, and IACM.
