Kojiro Tanaka, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist at CyberAgent, Inc., AI Lab, a Visiting Researcher at The University of Osaka, and a Guest Researcher at University of Tsukuba. He received his Ph.D. in Informatics from University of Tsukuba in 2025. His research focuses on human–computer interaction, with emphasis on shape-changing and material-based media. One of his works explores
grass materials as a new form of media. His research aims to realize novel forms of expression that focus on the inherent properties of materials and to investigate their potential applications in human society. He is a member of ACM and IPSJ.
