Jen-Chun Lin received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, in 2014. He is currently an Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. His research interests include multimedia content understanding, machine learning, affective computing, and 3D motion analysis, estimation, and generation. He received the APSIPA Sadaoki Furui Prize Paper Award in 2018 and the Excellent Ph.D. Dissertation Awards from both the Taiwanese Association for Artificial Intelligence and the Chinese Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Society in 2014.
