Ping Li received the Ph.D. degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Department of Computing and an Assistant Professor with School of Design, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has published over 260 top-tier articles, pioneered several new research directions, and made a series of landmark contributions in his areas. He has an excellent research project reported by the ACM TechNews, which only reports top breakthrough news in computer science worldwide. More importantly, however, many of his outcomes have strong impacts to fields, addressing societal needs and contributed tremendously to people concerned.
