Hyon-Gon Choo received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronic engineering in 1998 and 2000, respectively, and his Ph.D degree in electronic communication engineering in 2005 from Hanyang University, Korea. He is currently working as a Principal Researcher in Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Daejeon, Korea. He was a director of the Immersive Media Research Section. His research interests include realistic multimedia processing, light field & holography imaging systems, and Immersive video broadcasting technologies.
