Dr. Ramanathan is currently a professor in the department of Engineering design at IIT Madras. His primary research interests are in the field of developing algorithmic / deep learning based solution for problems in geometry. His passion is in music and is involved in design, analysis and manufacturing of musical instruments. He has received best paper awards in premier international conferences on solid modeling and CAD.
