Biography
Baoyang Chen is an artist and curator whose work intricately merges art with artificial intelligence. He is dedicated to exploring emergent, self-organizing behaviors within AI systems, as well as ecological relationships between embodied intelligence and humanistic environments.
Chen has held numerous solo exhibitions at prestigious international institutions and received awards including the Porsche Young Chinese Artist Award (2019), Hyundai Blue Prize for curation (2020). He serves as Co-curator of the Asia Digital Art Exhibition since 2020. He authored the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence’s first AI+Art white paper, cementing his academic influence in AI and art.
