Yixiong Wang is a Ph.D. student in Computational Media and Arts at HKUST (GZ), holding a master’s degree in Design Studies. His research focuses on human-computer interaction and cultural studies, with expertise in designing multimodal interactive experiences from a human-centered perspective. He has received honors including an Honorable Mention for Best Paper at ACM CHI 2025 and the iF Design Award, et al. His previous works explore the relationships among products, organisms, and humans, aiming to reveal new forms of harmony between human and non-human entities. By using media as a bridge, his projects inspire novel modes of interaction.
