Yuqing Liu is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Hong Kong, supported by the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) and the HKU Presidential PhD Scholarship (HKUPS). She holds a Master’s degree in Theory of Literature and Art and a double Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature and Art Theory from Peking University. Her research focuses on affectivity in Virtual Reality films, with broader interests in cultural studies and film studies.
