Vasilis Argyriou received his BSc degree in computer science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and his MSc and PhD degrees from the University of Surrey, both in electrical engineering working on registration. He joined the Communications and Signal Processing (CSP) Department, Imperial College, London, working on 3D object reconstruction. Now, he is a Professor at Kingston University, leading multimillion-euro projects funded by Horizon-Europe, H2020, Home-Office, and InnovateUK. His research focuses on Machine Learning, Scene Understanding, Digital Twins, XR, IoTs, and Humanoid Robots. Applications include Green-AI, Industry5.0, and textile recycling, with an emphasis on sustainable and intelligent systems.
