Biography
Dr. Sabri Gökmen is a computational designer, researcher, and educator specializing in parametric modeling, generative art, digital fabrication, and AI-driven design. His interdisciplinary work bridges technology and architecture, advancing areas such as cultural heritage analysis, creative computation, and public art. He has published in journals including CAD, Leonardo, and Nexus Network Journal and presented at ACADIA, eCAADe, and SIGraDi. Formerly Chair at Kadir Has University in Istanbul, he now teaches at UNC Charlotte, where his research explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, morphology, and design computation. He holds a PhD in Design Computation from Georgia Tech.
