Biography
Amina Umirzhanova (Ömirjan) is an award-winning director, story artist, and 2D animator from Almaty, Kazakhstan, and a recent grad from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
While at SCAD, Amina worked on two student films: a 30-week collaborative project titled 'Time Flies', which earned a nomination at the 44th College Television Awards, and a senior capstone she has directed called 'ÜMIT', which has been recognized at festivals and showcases worldwide - including SIGGRAPH Asia .
She is deeply passionate about creating stories set in unique environments that resonate with the audiences around the world.
