Pengcheng Xi is a Senior Research Scientist at the National Research Council Canada in Ottawa, leading work at the intersection of AI, human motion, digital health, and robotics. He is also an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University. He earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carleton University. His research spans human-autonomy teaming, 3D human motion generation, assistive human–robot interaction, and multimodal systems for health monitoring.
