Amrita Mazumdar joined NVIDIA Research in 2021. Her research interests span computer graphics, vision, and computer systems, with a current focus on AI for more efficient and realistic video streaming and telepresence. Her previous research includes cloud neural video compression, databases for AR/VR video, and computer vision hardware accelerators. She received her PhD (2020) and MS (2017) from the University of Washington, and her BS (2014) from Columbia University.
