Biography
Shih-Yu Lai is an AI scientist focusing on the convergence of robotic fabrication, computer graphics, physical simulation, graph/reinforcement learning, and digital twins. He is pursuing his M.S. in Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University. As an HPC intern @RIKEN, Japan, he developed large-scale digital twins on Fugaku with multimodal sensing fusion. He builds Visual Language Model tools for animation @MoonShine Studio. Formerly, as a AI Intern @Delta Electronics, he designed a pointcloud autoencoder for 3D electromagnetic simulation; as a researcher @Robot Aided Creation and Construction Group, he devised GRL to optimize brick assembly by a mobile manipulator.
