ShiQing Xin is a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Shandong University. His research interests include computational graphics, robot path planning, and 3D intelligent detection. He has made fundamental contributions to geometric computation, design, and optimization, with applications in computer graphics, CAD, digital geometry processing, VR, and intelligent manufacturing. He has received numerous awards, including the Best Paper Award at the 2017 and 2023 International SPM Conferences, the 2021 Wu Wenjun AI Natural Science Award (2nd prize), and the 2023 SIGGRAPH Best Paper Award. He also received the 2022 Taishan Teaching Excellence Award.
