Erwin Wu is a Research Associate Professor at the Institute of Science Tokyo. He received his B.Sc. in Computer Science (with Honor) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and his Ph.D. from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Before joining ScienceTokyo, he was a Senior Researcher at Huawei Japan and a Research Fellow at Sony CSL, and has also served as a Visiting Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and Keio University. His research spans computer vision, human–computer interaction, and VR/AR visualization, with emphasis on 3D human pose reconstruction, sports science, and skill acquisition.
