Hiromasa Oku received the Dr. Eng. degree in mathematical engineering and information physics from The University of Tokyo, Japan, in 2003. He was a Researcher with PRESTO, Japan Science and Technology Agency, from 2003 to 2005. He was a Research Associate (2005–2007), an Assistant Professor (2007–2011), and a Lecturer/an Assistant Professor (2011–2014) with The University of Tokyo. He has been an Associate Professor with the School of Science and Technology, Gunma University, since 2014, where he is currently a Professor with the Faculty of Informatics. His research interests include high-speed image processing, high-speed optical devices, and dynamic image control.
