Nano Kojima is a first-year PhD student at Institute of Science Tokyo. Their research lies at the intersection of digital humanities, visual communication, and semiotics. Fascinated by the use of signs in all forms, their research focuses particularly on visual signs and the cultural norms embedded in their design. Alongside academic work, Nano explores science communication through zines that translate complex research into accessible visual narratives.
