Xiaoshuai Zhang is a Research Scientist at Hillbot, where he is a founding member and tech lead of the foundation model group, driving the company’s 3D and Embodied AI research efforts. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC San Diego in 2024 (advised by Prof. Hao Su) and a B.S. in Computer Science from Peking University in 2019. He interned at Apple, Adobe, and Google, and was a visiting scholar at Stanford (advised by Prof. Leonidas Guibas) briefly during his Ph.D. Xiaoshuai’s research spans embodied AI systems, 3D vision, foundation models, neural rendering, and graphics.
