Gahui Kim is a master’s student in Immersive Media Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), Republic of Korea. Her research interests lie in the psychological factors underlying the acceptance and use of immersive technologies. Focusing on adoption dynamics and optimal content experience in emerging wearable and immersive systems, she investigates how users perceive, trust, and adapt to these technologies. Her current work examines new modes of acceptance for XR glasses and the associated privacy concerns, exploring their broader implications for individuals and society.
