Dr. Daisuke Kasai is an Associate Professor at the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology, specializing in Design Studies, color science, and dementia-friendly environments. Holds a Ph.D. in Design Studies (2025) from the University of Tsukuba, an M.A. in Design Studies (2008) from Shizuoka University of Art and Culture, and a B.Eng. in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Urban Planning) from the University of Yamanashi. Research explores dementia-friendly outdoor spaces, design communication through image collage, and the creative integration of analog and digital methods in education.
