Chen Liang is an Assistant Professor in Computational Media and Arts (CMA) Thrust, Information Hub, HKUST(GZ). He received a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. in computer science from Tsinghua University in 2019 and 2024 respectively, under the supervision of Professor Yuanchun Shi. Dr. Liang's research majors are human-computer interaction and ubiquitous computing, particularly focusing on digital experience innovation and interactive technology. He published over 20 conference/journal papers on top HCI/Ubicomp/AI venues, including CHI, UIST, Ubicomp, ICML, and AAAI. He has been granted 5 invention patents and twice received the ACM CHI Honorable Mention Award (2023, 2024).
