Biography
As an interdisciplinary artist based in Tokyo, she is active under the name ‘suzueri’. She is a graduate of Musashino Art University and International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS), and is currently enrolled in the Master's program at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, University of Tokyo. She has been awarded several fellowships and prizes, including the shiseido art egg award in 2025, ACC NYC fellowship in 2022, and 24th Jury Selection Japan Media Arts Festival in the Art Division in 2021.

Focusing on the storage and transmission of sounds and the freedom by DIY technologies, she creates installations and performs both domestically and internationally with her own instruments. Her recent interest is in gaps, latencies and dissonances that emerge from interactions: between instruments and the body, between communications. She sees her work as an exploration of the poetry and narrative that arise from these gaps.
