Enza Migliore is a design researcher and educator, based at SUSTech's School of Design in Shenzhen, leading the Materialities Research Group. Her work explores ecological, technological, and cultural aspects of materials through interdisciplinary, empirical, and science-informed design. Focused on bio-innovation and eco-intelligent design, her projects have been featured at major venues, including the Venice Biennale and the Milano Triennale. She aims to push the boundaries of materials to redefine and challenge their materiality as fundamental interfaces that facilitate human interactions with the environment and society, while also incorporating more than human perspectives.
