Biography
Professor Mark Billinghurst is a leading expert in Human-Computer Interaction and Augmented Reality, best known for inventing the “Magic Book.” He earned his PhD at the University of Washington in 2002. Recognized with the Discover Magazine Award, he has been showcased internationally and advised the New Zealand Government. His research explores wearable computing, collaborative augmented reality, and multimodal input, integrating speech, gesture, gaze, and motion to create natural and intuitive interfaces for enhancing collaboration and user experience.
