Biography
Carlos is a Colombian/Australian animation producer & sound designer, co-founder of Karu-Karu. His projects have been well regarded at international markets (Annecy-Mifa, Stuttgart, Kidscreen) and have received nominations and awards in Europe, Australia, USA and Latin America.
His recently produced pilot for "Wishes" (selected in over 40 international festivals and winner of 7 awards to date) was funded by Screen Australia and won the Screen Producers Australia Best Short Production of the Year award 2025.
He has been an Australian Screen Sound Guild representative since 2020 and works as a teaching academic at the University of South Australia.
