Cecilia Zhang is a computational photography researcher. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2020, advised by Ren Ng. She’s generally interested in building computational tools to capture and edit photos and videos to improve their perceptual and semantic quality. Recently, she's interested in burst technology, portrait relighting and photo restoration. She received her B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 2015, awarded with Summa Cum Laude and Distinction in Research.
