Yuta Itoh is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan. His research centers on vision augmentation, particularly augmented reality technologies such as see-through near-eye displays. He earned his Dr. rer. nat. from the Technical University of Munich in 2016. He previously served as Project Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo (2021–2025), Assistant Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology (2017–2021), Project Assistant Professor at Keio University (2016–2017), and research engineer at Toshiba (2011–2013). A Senior IEEE Member since 2024, he received the JSPS Prize in 2025.
