Junmo Kim received the B.S. degree from Seoul National University, South Korea, in 1998, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in 2000 and 2005, respectively. From 2005 to 2009, he was with the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, South Korea. In 2009, he joined Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, as a Faculty Member, where he is currently a Professor of electrical engineering. His current research interests include image processing, computer vision, statistical signal processing, machine learning, and information theory.
