Mie Sato is a professor at the School of Data Science and Management, Utsunomiya University, Tochigi, Japan.
She received the Doctor of Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2001.
Her research interests include augmented reality, virtual reality, image and video processing, and Kansei information processing.
She is a member of ACM SIGGRAPH and ITE.
