(Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and information engineering from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, in 2003, 2005, and 2007, respectively. Since 2008, he has been with the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include AI, IoT, and big data analysis for multimedia signal processing. Dr. Ogawa has served as a chair for several IEEE and ACM conferences and is an associate editor of ITE Transactions on Media Technology and Applications.
