Dr. Amin completed his Ph.D. in Life Science (Molecular Medicine) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and joined HKUST as a Lecturer in 2024. As the Principal Investigator of the Innovative Pedagogy Research and Development Lab, his research interests focus on techno-pedagogy and machine learning. His commitment to educational innovation has earned him multiple accolades, including the SENtastic Staff Award, Educational Technology Innovation GOLD Award, Academy of Education Excellence Junior Fellowship Award, and the Thetos Early Career Distinguished Teaching Award. Dr. Amin is dedicated to integrating advanced technologies, such as Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence, into his teaching to enhance student learning experiences.
