Shigeo Morishima is professor at Advanced Science and Engineering department, Waseda University. He was visiting professor of University of Toronto, professor of Seikei University, invited researcher of Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute and National Institute of Information and Communications Technology formerly. His research interests are Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Human Computer Interaction, Multimodal Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence. He is vice-president of Japanese Academy of Facial Studies, fellow of the Information Processing Society and Institute of Image Electronics Engineers of Japan. He was former general chair of VRST 2018 and PG 2022. He got many outstanding awards like IBM research award.
