Biography
Chao Li is currently the Head of Advanced Rendering Technology at Tencent Games. He received his PhD from Zhejiang University in 2019 and has long been committed to technological R&D and innovative practices at the intersection of game rendering and artificial intelligence. The core rendering solutions developed under his leadership, such as AI-powered Global Illumination (GI), have been successfully implemented and deployed in numerous well-known internal and external game products, significantly enhancing the visual realism and rendering efficiency of game graphics. He has led or played a core role in technical projects that have been invited for technical presentations at top-tier global conferences in the game and graphics fields, including the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC), garnering extensive industry influence. His academic research achievements have also been published in prestigious international graphics conferences such as SIGGRAPH and Eurographics (EG).
