Biography
Aileen Ng is an artist, designer, engineer, and researcher at SensiLab, Monash University, Australia, where she is currently undertaking a PhD. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Engineering, and her interdisciplinary background informs a practice that integrates technical experimentation with critical inquiry. Her research investigates the social dynamics between humans and intelligent systems, examining how interaction with technology shapes perception, knowledge, and ways of being. Through installations, interactive systems, and speculative artefacts, she explores the cultural and ethical implications of these relationships while opening imaginative spaces for alternative futures.
