Yang Xu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science, at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) (since 2023). He was an Assistant Professor at San Diego State University (2018-2023). He obtained his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University, and his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Tsinghua University. Dr. Xu has broad research interests in the intersection of computational linguistics (natural language processing), psycholinguistics, and cognitive sciences.
