Takeshi Oishi received his B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from Keio University in 1999 and his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Information Studies from the University of Tokyo in 2005. He is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, where he directs the Food Technology Research Center and serves as Deputy Director of the Interspace Research Center. His research focuses on 3D real-world data modeling, digital preservation of cultural heritage, and mixed/augmented reality technologies.
