Susana Castillo is working as senior post-doc for the Computer Graphics Lab at TU Braunschweig since 2019. She got her computer engineering degree from the University of Zaragoza where she worked as a Junior Researcher with the Graphics and Imaging Lab. She received her PhD in computer science while working with the Department for Graphical Systems at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Her scientific ambition is to create Immersive Extended Realities in which people can act, react, communicate, and generally interact - naturally, comfortably, and successfully. Her fields of interest span facial animation, multimodal communication, perception, image and video manipulation, and virtual reality.
