Haruka Hirae received her B.E. and M.E. degrees in Applied Physics from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, in 2023 and 2025, respectively. She is currently a Research Engineer at NTT Space Environment and Energy Laboratories and a Research Fellow at Waseda University. During her studies, she worked on physics-based fluid animation and developed numerical methods for shallow-water equations. She is now engaged in ocean simulation, with research interests in physically based animation and computational fluid dynamics.
