Jiayi Xu received her Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Tsukuba in 2023. She was a Researcher at the University of Tsukuba and is currently a Project Assistant Professor at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo. Her research interests include haptics, non-contact thermal feedback, natural human-computer interaction, and virtual reality. She is a member of ACM, IEEE, and the Virtual Reality Society of Japan.
