Hedwig Eisenbarth is an affective (neuro-)scientist in the School of Psychological Sciences at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. Her research investigates the role of emotional experiences for processing emotional information in the environment, using neuro- and psycho-physiological methods as well as behavioural observations. Her lab has investigated facial expression recognition in both humans and through computational models.
