Naoto Wakatsuki received his B.Eng., M.Eng. and D.Eng. degrees from the University of Tsukuba in 1993, 1995 and 2004, respectively. He worked for Okayama University from 1995 to 2001, and for Akita Prefectural University from 2001 to 2006. He is currently a Professor at the University of Tsukuba. His research interests include acoustic instrumentation, simulation-based visualization, vibration sensors and actuators, acoustical engineering, musical acoustics, and inverse problems. He is affiliated with a number of academic societies, including the Acoustical Society of Japan, the Acoustical Society of America, the Society of Agricultural Structures, and the Japan Society for Simulation Technology.
