Prof. Hou is a Ph.D. supervisor and Director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Network Systems and Network Culture. She serves as Vice Chair of the Information and Interaction Design Committee of the China Industrial Design Association and is a council member of the Industrial Design Division of the Mechanical Engineering Society. Her research focuses on human-computer interaction, digital media, and intelligent design. She has led multiple national research projects and guided students to win numerous international design awards.
