Jinjin Gu
Biography
Jinjin Gu is a researcher in artificial intelligence and visual technologies, with a focus on computer vision, generative AI, and Intelligent Agent. He earned his PhD from the University of Sydney in 2024 under the guidance of Professors Ouyang Wanli and Zhou Luping, following his Bachelor's degree from CUHK (Shenzhen) in 2020. His work has been published in top-tier conferences and journals, including CVPR, ECCV, NeurIPS, and IEEE TPAMI, garnering more than 9,000 citations and earning an H-index of 27.
In 2024, Jinjin was recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University. His contributions have won prestigious awards such as the Huawei Camera Scholar Star Award (2022) and the WAIC Yunfan Award (2023). Notably, his team achieved multiple championship titles in international super-resolution competitions, and his research has been commercialized for use in leading mobile devices.
Currently, Jinjin is establishing his own research laboratory, pushing the boundaries of AI and visual technology to create impactful innovations.
