Yoshiyuki Numata is currently a Research Manager at the Advanced Research & Innovation Center within the Research & Development Division of Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. He earned his Master of Engineering degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology in 1995. Since joining Chubu Electric Power in 1995, he has accumulated extensive experience in the construction, maintenance, and operation of power distribution facilities. Leveraging this expertise, he now leads research in information technology and is actively involved in applying 3D technology, including 3D Gaussian Splatting, to power equipment management operations.
