Seitaro Shinagawa graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Tohoku University in 2013. He completed his Master's degree in Information Science at the same university in 2015, and his doctoral studies at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) in 2020, earning a Doctor of Engineering. After serving as an Assistant Professor at NAIST, he became an Affiliate Assistant Professor at NAIST in 2024. He is engaged in the research and development of multimodal foundation models.
