Hiroyuki Sakai is a researcher at Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc., where he leads a team focused on collaborative intelligence. He earned his Ph.D. from Toyohashi University of Technology in 2003. After nearly five years as a postdoctoral fellow at RIKEN Brain Science Institute, he joined Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc. His research interests include neuroscience, ergonomics, and human augmentation.
