Xiaoyan Sun is a Full Professor at University of Science and Technology of China and deputy director of National Engineering Laboratory for Brain-inspired Intelligence Technology and Application. Prior to joining USTC in 2019, she was with Microsoft Research Asia from 2003 to 2019. Her research interests include computer vision, image/video processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence. She has authored or co-authored over 180 publications in journals and conferences. She is on the Senior Editorial Board of the IEEE Journal on Emerging and Selected Topics in Circuits and Systems and AE of both IEEE TCSVT and Signal Processing: Image Communication.
