Juyoung Kim received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Pusan National University, Korea, in 2004, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from KAIST, Korea, in 2006. Since 2006, she has been with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). Her current research interests include augmented and virtual reality systems, mixed reality interaction, and hand pose estimation for immersive user interfaces. She has participated in several projects on AR/VR-based remote conferencing and realistic avatar representation, focusing on hand motion capture, gesture analysis, and pose tracking in mixed reality environments.
